Service terms
Last updated October 5, 2026
Snack Pack Studio is operated by Jay P., an individual based in Illinois, USA ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you ("client") buy a pilot, a monthly plan or custom work from us. A written order, invoice or email confirming scope (the "order") plus these terms make up the agreement. If they conflict, the order wins.
1. What we deliver
- Pilot: 3 short videos (1 concept, 3 hooks) in 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5 with captions, delivered within 4 business days after you approve the scripts and send the product material we ask for. Two revision rounds.
- Monthly: the number of videos in your order (from 12 per month), delivered weekly, with a presenter reserved for your category and a monthly performance check-in.
- Custom: as written in the order.
A revision round is one consolidated list of changes to delivered videos within the approved script. New concepts, new scripts or a different presenter count as new work.
2. Your responsibilities
- Send accurate product information, images or video, brand rules, and the product claims you're allowed to make.
- Make sure every claim you give us is true and that you can substantiate it. You're responsible for your product claims and for any required disclaimers.
- Review and approve scripts. Approval confirms the script's claims are accurate.
- Run the videos within the rules of each platform you use, including declaring AI-generated or AI-modified content in your ad accounts (for example in Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager) and keeping the on-screen AI label in place.
- Don't edit a video to make a presenter appear to testify about personal use or results, and don't remove or obscure the AI label.
3. How we make ads
Presenters are AI-generated. They demonstrate products in the second or third person; they don't give testimonials, claim personal use, or show results or before-and-after comparisons. We decline categories and claims described in our AI disclosure page, and we may decline any script we believe is misleading.
4. Payment
Pilots are paid in full before work starts. Monthly plans are billed in advance each month and renew until cancelled. Custom work is billed as stated in the order. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that apply. Refunds follow our refund policy.
5. Who owns what
- Your material (logos, product images, brand assets) stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to make your videos.
- Delivered videos: once paid in full, you get a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use, run, cut and caption the delivered videos to advertise your products, on any channel, subject to section 2.
- Presenters (their likeness, voice and identity) and our scripts' structure, prompts and process stay with Snack Pack Studio. You may not use a presenter in new content we didn't make, or present a presenter as a real person.
- Category reservation: while you're on an active monthly plan, we won't use your presenter in new ads for a directly competing brand in your category. Videos already delivered to other clients stay theirs.
- Portfolio: we may show delivered videos in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
6. No guarantee of results
We make creative; we don't run your ads or control the platforms. We don't guarantee views, clicks, sales, approval by an ad platform, or any performance result.
7. Confidentiality
We keep your non-public information (unreleased products, performance data, pricing) confidential and use it only for your work.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. You agree to cover claims that come from product claims, material or instructions you provided, or from editing or running the videos in breach of section 2.
9. Cancelling
You can cancel a monthly plan any time before your next billing date; the current paid month is still delivered. Either side may end the agreement if the other seriously breaches it and doesn't fix the breach within 10 days of notice. Sections 5 to 8 and 10 continue after the agreement ends.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. We'll try to resolve any dispute by talking first. We may update these terms for future orders; the version in place when you placed your order applies to that order.
